Chinese New Year Celebrations

In celebration of Chinese New Year the boys went on a trip to the library to create kites. The boys listened to the history of Chinese New Year and learned a lot about China.

I really like making kites, it is a lot of fun.

I had a good time and learned a lot there.

If We Met Jack Frost........

The Pupils in our class wrote creative stories about meeting Jack Frost. Read our creative stories below.

One day I was walking down the street. I saw a blue man and it was Jack Frost. I said hello . He said hello back. I asked him "Do you want to go to the pictures to see Yes Man" .
We went to see it. It was gas. So after that we went to Funderland. We went on every ride. They were fantasic. Then we went back to my place and played some games. Then Jack had to go. I said bye Jack, KEEP COOL ...

"Hello Jack Frost. How is the weather like up there because it is freezing down here. Come on and we will go to Noctors for a few points of Guinness and then we will go to Chartbusters for a few minutes of sunbeds". Then we will get a few films to watch in my house. We got Hot Fuzz, Norbet, Longest Yard, Mean Machine and Green Street. So when we got home my ma was in bed so I stuck on the films and me and Jack lied on the chairs and watched all of the films until we fell asleep.

The Weather....

Everyone wants to know what the weather will be like. The pupils in our room are learning about different types of weather. There are many ways to find out about the weather. We have learned that you can listen to the weather forecast by listening to the radio, by watching TV and most of all by looking up at the sky.

My New Year's Resolution

This year I am planning to be better at football and better at break dancing.
I am going to give up toffee, being cheeky to me ma and da.
I am going to improve at maths, history and irish as well as spellings.
I am going to get fitter, faster, calmer and a lot more responsible around the house.
Im going to be a footballer when I grow up.

This year I am going to go on jogs. Brandon and Robert is going with me too. I am going to give up sweets but just have two a day for a treat. I will do better this year in school. And play better this year at football .I am going to help my ma in the house by cleaning up, washing the delph and make my ma rice crispies in the morning for breakfast. By Dylan G.

Read our Christmas Stories

On Christmas Eve my family were very busy. I helped wrap the presents. I went to bed early. In the morning I got up for all my presents. I got a green machine, playstation games, a remote control car, two footballs, and money. Then after a few days we went to the RDS

I had a great Christmas. I got a laptop and it has the internet. I spent the Christmas with my family and we got Christmas dinner which consisted of potatoes, carrots, peas, chicken and turkey. After that we had chocolate melted. We melted it with my cousins chocolate fountain and we dipped marshmallows in the hot chocolate.

After our play me Brando and Dylan went up town .On Christmas morning I got a PS3 and a lot of other stuff. After St. Stevens Day Brandon and the rest of my friends went to the pictures to see The Spirit. It was no good. After the pictures we went to KFC and I popped a tub of red sauce on my friend. Oh I had my dinner on St. Stevens Day with my nanny.

After my school play I was all excited about Christmas.I went over to the park and I went to my friends.I asked them were they going to the Church tomorrow night.They said they were.
