The Robbery

By Evan Pierce

A long time ago, there lived a detective in Dublin. He was known as Shrek. Shrek was fifty when he heard about the murder of Jonny Forty Coats. He was told to go to a house in Sheriff Street to find out what really happened.

The house was haunted. When he walked in, he could feel the presence of a ghost. That is why nobody went into the house. When he went to the front room, there was a birthday card on the table. It read: 'Specially for you, Jonny Forty Coats'.

He heard a noise coming from the basement. He went to have a look and there was a miniature 'Scooby Doo'... Yes! A Puppy Doo! There, standing with a scissors, looking very suspicious.

'I killed Jonny Forty Coats', he said in a happy voice.

Our Stories

Here are our Monday Spellings: Granny, Each, Language, Character and Gorgeous.

Here are some of the stories we wrote for homework!!

“I met this gorgeous girl where my Granny lives. Each day, we go on romantic walks. She is from Sweden so there is a bit of a language problem. I have to say, she is a real character!
By Paul Kinlan.

“My Granny is a real character. Every Sunday, she bakes gorgeous cakes and gives us all one each. One Sunday, she burned all the cakes and her language was disgraceful!”
By Jack Kenna

“My Granny is very good. When we go to see her, she always gives us some sweets and some biscuits. She is like my nanny. My nanny is a great character. She plays with us and sings songs for us all the time. When she is going out, she always looks gorgeous. She has lovely clothes. She does not like to hear kids saying bad language. She likes us to be kind to each other.
That’s my nanny and my granny for you!”
